From
the humble beginnings of a retail location opened in 1997,
Axis Sport Tuning, Inc. has become the name in break through
wheel designs throughout the industry.
Realizing that the wheel industry was neglecting the import
scene by only offering the standard 14"-16"
sizes, AXIS sought to turn heads in late 1997 by offering
17"& 18" wheel diameters reserved only for
German sports cars.
The "Touring Cup" and "Racing Spec"
designs were born and AXIS' prominent influence in the
industry had begun.
In 1998 Axis broke ground with the SUV line with the introduction
of the "Axis Vortex". Having gained the reputation
for being a leader in the Import tuning world with the
"SE7EN" and "Touring Cup" designs,
AXIS sensed something was missing when we did the unimaginable.
In 1999 …we built a 19" tuner style wheel!!
At this time putting a 19" wheel on a Honda Civic
or Mitsubishi Eclipse was not only unheard of, but considered
down right absurd. Not only did we prove everyone wrong,
Axis Sport Tuning, Inc. is now the 19" King. |
